 We're thrilled you've decided to get to know us! Before you tour our site, we'd like to share a few things. Washington Avenue Bible Church is on a mission that is the foundation for everything we say, do, believe, and promote. Simply stated, our mission is to love God radically, heal spiritually and follow Christ fully.
First, radical love for Jesus is expressed in how we worship God with all our senses in freedom and grace. It is also shown in how we embrace all who walk through our doors and in the family atmosphere we enjoy.
Second, WABC is a place to heal spiritually. Many among us have been bruised and battered by the world and even the church. These folks are all too familiar with how it feels to be repeatedly wounded. Here, we let you rest, heal and soak in Jesus.
Finally, we aim to follow Christ fully. Our faith is not just a Sunday morning thing—it affects every aspect of our lives. Full commitment to Christ means that we serve Him, not because we have to, but because we love to.
