Prayer Page        Sept 28th —Oct 4th, 2008

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 5:20

The Walters: We are thankful for the sabbatical time we’ve been given by Wycliffe. Please pray that this would be a time of spiritual renewal and refreshment.

The Elkins: The high holy days of Judaism (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur) begin tomorrow. Pray for Jewish people, that they will come to understand that the blood sacrifices are fulfilled in Jesus and he brings everlasting forgiveness from God.

Allison Stayer: I am hoping to take a trip overseas next year. Please keep this in your prayers as I will need to decide location, contacts and focus for the trip.

Our World: September coincides this year with the Muslim month of Ramadan, a time when some Muslims are especially attuned to spiritual matters'. Pray that God would reveal to open hearts the truth of the Gospel, particularly the truth of who Jesus is and what he accomplished on the cross.

Our Women: Pray that God’s Spirit would enlighten their hearts as they begin a new study of the Word this week. Pray also for changed lives as they apply what they learn.
