Outreach Update
Ron & Jackie Elkin are coming to speak at the beginning of each service on September 12th. Then they will spend the rest of the time in Adult Bible Fellowship classes. A love offering will be taken for the Elkins.
Elders' Wives' Prayer
September 7th, 7:00 pm at Jeanie Burkholder's home.
Deaconate Meeting
Saturday, September 11th, 9:00 am at WABC.
WABC Picnic at Woodcrest
Sunday, September 19th, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Join us for fellowship, worship service, lunch, games and waterslide. There will be no regular services at the church. Please bring a pre-cut dessert and a cold or room-temp side dish (nothing plugged in) and a swimsuit and towel. Invite your friends! This is a great outreach event.
Automated Giving
If you would like to arrange your giving to WABC automatically through your bank, please pick up a form in the foyer of the church, fill it out and place it on the office desk or mail to the church.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Urgent Sunday School Need
A teacher for grades 3-5 is needed for the upcoming school year, beginning in September. SEe Sandie or Lori for more information.
Cancellation
All evening events are cancelled on Wednesday, September 22nd due to the Ephrata Fair. Parking spaces are limited around the church.
Adventure Club
Adventure Club for Grades K-5 will begin Wednesday, September 8th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm in the church basement. Theme: Parable Quest. Please pre-register your child. A registration form can be found in your church mailbox. Please place completed form in Tina Trimble's mailbox.
Promotion Sunday
All students will move up to their new Sunday School classes on Sunday, September 5th.
New Kingdom Seekers Topic
Join the Kingdom Seekers ABF class during the 10:30 am service in the church house. Bill Salmon will be leading the class in an inductive study of the letters of John.
MEN
Men’s Breakfast
Saturday, September 18th, 8:00 am in the church basement.
Men's Accountability Group
Will be cancelled on September 5th and 19th.
Men's Bible Study
Thursdays at 10:00 am, starting September 2nd in the Upper Room at WABC. Pastor Tom will be leading a study of Compelled by Love by Ed Stetzer. All men are welcome.
Guys Night Out
Friday, September 24th, 7:00 - 10:00 pm at the Latshaw home. Come and hang out with the men of WABC. Pool, hot tub, billiards, foosball, campfire are all available. Bring board and card games along with a snack to share.

YOUTH
Youth Group Change
Starting September 7th, the youth group (grades 6-12) will meet on Tuesday evenings, instead of Wednesday evenings. This is to accomodate the growing Jr. High and to allow for division into groups while using the whole church building. If you are interested in helping as a youth leader, see Pastor Jay.
